Host Agents is a well-rounded and dynamic company operating out of Blouberg in the Western Cape. We provide a range of services to home owners in Cape Town who already have/are planning to have their short-term rental property featured on Airbnb.

We are focused on providing amazing services to home owners, who have trusted us with their properties and intend to increase revenue and welcome guests from all walks of life into their homes.

We offer a hassle-free and convenient Airbnb management service to home owners in Cape Town.

At Host Agents, we manage every aspect of the listing and booking process for the home owner. Our dedicated team oversees our clients' inbox, arranges cleaners, coordinates key exchanges, organizes maintenance repairs and replenishes stock where needed. Our services also include price optimization to ensure that properties are earning to their potential and higher incomes are generated by home owners.

Host Agents is an established short-term rental agency with its head office in Cape Town. Our proactive and dynamic team manages a growing portfolio of short-term holiday rentals around South Africa.

We would like to welcome an experienced Host to join our growing team with the purpose of managing our Sandton and surrounding property portfolio, maximizing income, securing tenant retention and overseeing the overall maintenance of each property. This position will be ideally suited to someone with great time management, excellent people skills and a strong attention to detail.

Duties Include:

  • Ensuring that the Sandton and surrounds operations are in line with the company's national benchmarks.
  • Independently ensuring the fulfilment of core services, such as cleaning, linen delivery, completing a pre-arrival checklist, and ensuring that guest check-in / check-outs are handled professionally, on time and with a positive attitude.
  • Maintaining various properties by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing repairs as necessary.
  • Maintaining building systems by contracting for maintenance services and supervising repairs.
  • Embedding the company's customer promise throughout the host cycle on behalf of Host Agents.
  • Documenting and completing tasks outlined on our online Staff App.
  • Assisting guests with troubleshooting when needed.

The successful candidate will need to have

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Host or a similar experience in a hospitality role.
  • Excelled in an operational capacity at a high growth start-up or scale-up, preferably one that deals with 'real-world' (vs online only) operations.
  • A track record of being an operational problem solver.
  • A drive to inspire and motivate a team built on people management experience.
  • Strong customer service management experience.
  • A history of using data to analyze and evaluate when making decisions.
  • An in-depth knowledge of Sandton, Johannesburg and the surrounding area would be a nice extra.
  • Own reliable transport and preferably reside in the Johannesburg (Sandton, Midrand) area.
  • Matric is essential, and a hospitality qualification would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and be well presented at all times.
  • A flexible attitude to hours, the chosen candidate may be required to work shifts that include weekends and public holidays.

We are an established short-term rental agency based in Bloubergstrand. Our proactive and dynamic team manages a growing portfolio of short-term holiday rentals along the West Coast and Atlantic Seaboard.

As we expand our property portfolio, we would like to welcome a hardworking and goal orientated Reservations Consultant to join our team. This position would suit someone with a lot of energy, who is willing to go above and beyond.

Only candidates with strong experience in Hospitality and reservations management will be considered.

Duties Include

  • Managing bookings and availability calendar.
  • Processing bookings via extranets.
  • Administrative Work – mostly web-based.
  • Guest Liaisons.
  • Deal with travel agents.
  • Ensure all quotations are followed up on a regular basis in order to ensure maximum revenue.
  • Actively try to resolve guest complaints, where possible, exercise judgement and escalate it to the manager.
  • Ensure accurate & detailed capturing of reservations.
  • This is a challenging job that will reward people who are self-motivated and hardworking. You will learn a lot and expand your horizons while working with a fantastic group of people.

Requirements?

  • Be proficient in English and Afrikaans.
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette and mannerisms are required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Be flexible and able to cope with a variety of different tasks.

Duties Include

  • Managing the entire process from lead to sign-up for the whole of South Africa.
  • Fielding incoming enquiries from prospective owners/listings with efficiency.
  • Making calls to further qualify incoming leads.
  • Spending part of your time visiting new owners/listings to onboard their homes in the Western Cape area.
  • Complete a market analysis of rates and provide suggested selling rates to owner.
  • Assist with fee structure for the property of owner.
  • Based on that put together contract and pricing sheet for owner signature.
  • Achieving monthly individual targets.
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure a smooth sign-up process.
  • Be the first point of contact for new listing owners if they have queries or concerns.
